CITS RPL Registration 2024 NIMI Recognition of Prior Learning Registration. Under the Craft Instructors Training Scheme (CITS), the National Instructional Media Institute Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Registration for the year 2024 has started. Candidates who have prior experience as craft instructors are eligible for NIMI CITS RPL Registration 2024. Candidates complete the examination and the course will be awarded with the National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC).

The online application for this AITT CITS RPL will be accepted from the NIMI Online website from 08th January 2024 to 07th February 2024. So during these dates you can use the facility to login and submit the online application to attend the written test in the month of June/July 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for NIMI RPL Registration 2024

An All India Trade Test(AITT) will be conducted for the candidates under RPL for those with the following eligibility criteria if applied before the last date.

The In-Service Instructor should have at least of 03 years of Experience of Teaching in government or Private ITI.

The Instructor should be Sponsored/Nominated by the Institute(ITI)/State Directorate for Applying in this Scheme to appear in AITT for RPL under CITS to be conducted by DGT

The Instructor has to be registered in NSIT through CFI Online Portal at least one month before the scheduled date of examination

The Instructor has to submit the GPF/EPF statement to the competent authority during registration in support of their experience.

Examination/Registration Fees: Rs.3000/-

NIMI CITS RPL Examination Schedule/Date and Details of Test

The AITT For RPL Examination will be conducted for a total of six days. On each day a particular paper will be conducted. The details of the examination conducted on each day is as follows.

Day 1 : Theory paper Consisting of 03 Parts: Total 150 Marks

Paper 1: Trade Theory/Tade Skill: 50 Marks

Paper 2: Any one of the below.

(a): Workshop Calculation and Science – (50 marks) for Engineering Group of Trades except DDM, DMC and RODA Trades

(b): Workshop Calculation and Workshop Science: (50 Marks) for DMM DMC and RODA Trades

(c): Vocations Sc & Calculation: 50 Marks (For non-engineering trades except Beauty & well Sector and Travel &Tourism Sector Trades)

(d): Soft Skill and English Communication: 50 Marks(For Beauty & well Sector and Travel &Tourism Sector Trades)

Paper 3: Training Methodology: 50 Marks (Common for all Engineering and Non-Engineering Trades)

Day 2 : One the following

Engineering Drawing: 50 marks for all Engineering Trades except DMM, DMC and RODA

Practical Examination of Vocational Sc & Calculation: 50 Marks / Soft Skill & English Communication: 50 Marks

Day 3 and 4: Training Methodology Practical Examination of 04 Parts

(a) Lesson Plan development: 20 Marks

(b) Less Plan Delivery In Class Room: 30 Marks

(c): Demonstration Plan Development: 20 Marks

(d): Demonstration activity in Workshop/Lab: 30 Marks

Day 5 and 6

Trade Practical Examination: 200 Marks for all Engineering and Non-Engineering Trades

The NIMI CITS RPL Exam Schedule/dates for each of these papers will be communicated shortly.

Minimum Passing Marks: 60% is the minimum qualifying marks in each part of the examination. This is applicable for Theory and Practical Exams.
