Elementary Maritime Knowledge Course Application Process
Application Forms for EMKC Registration must be done online from the website www.aicsmindia.org. The submission of these forms is possible for a limited time period. Students have to fill all the required information in the AICSM Board EMKC Online Application Form before the final submission.
Educational qualifications required:
The minimum qualification necessary is 10th Pass from a recognized Board of State or Central or from NIOS of New Delhi. Candidates having higher qualifications can also apply through the EMKC Registration.
Age Limit as on the last date of the application submission process
General: 18 to 35 Years
OBC: 18 to 38 Years
SC ST: 18 to 40 Years
AICSM Board EMKC Selection Procedure
Based on the educational qualification the EMKC Selection takes place. The Total Marks for the selection process of 120. Of these marks, 100 marks are just for the performance in 10th and 20 marks are for the performance in the higher qualifications.
Candidates who are Shortlisted in the AICSM Bord EMKC Selection Process through these marks are provided with an E-Selection Letter at the registered email id. You will also receive an SMS at the registered mobile number upon receiving this EMKC E Selection letter
Here comes the Procedure of AICSM India EMKC Document Verification. Candidates need to submit all the documents of interest by the AICSM Board online or offline. Once this submission is over the result is announced.
Candidates shortlisted through document verification need to attend and the second level of selection that includes
Group Discussion and
Online Examination.
After this Medical Examination and Police Verification are the stage of selection. These will finally decide the candidates joining in Elementary Maritime Knowledge Course (EMKC) for Maritime Transport Department.

Details of Stipend and Wages Provided:
During Training Period of 14 Months: Rs.15000/-
After Training Wages are Rs. 30000/- to 70000/- for Worker Category and Rs.40000/- to Rs.90000/- for Officer Category.
