The fellowship to the candidates who have qualified will not exceed a maximum limit of 5 years. Soon after the initial selection of candidates, they are appointed to the position of JRF with a stipend of Rs.25000/-. After completion of two years they are promoted as senior research fellowship with a stipend of Rs.28000/- per month.
